Membership is assumed to include the current calendar year. Thus a new member in December receives forthwith four copies of The Mariner’s Mirror (published February, May, August and November). The next subscription is therefore due on 1st January.

The Society for Nautical Research is a registered charity (Registered No. 1026357) and a company limited by guarantee (Company Registration No. 2848095). The company is registered in England and the Registered Office is the National Maritime Museum, Greenwich, London SE10 9NF. The Society is governed by an elected council served by specialist committees.
