Publications
The Society's principal publication is its quarterly journal, The Mariner's Mirror, which has been published since 1911.
Some 90 volumes of the Mariner's Mirror are held in the Society's archive. Every five years, the Society publishes an index. The indexes, the key to the wealth of information in those volumes, are available to members. Members also have online access to a searchable list of all articles and notes since 1911.
The SNR publishes details of events, current research and grants in its quarterly members' newsletter.
The Society also publishes an annual bibliography for members, which lists books and articles of interest to members, and includes important additions to manuscript collections published or deposited during the year. The 2006 Bibliography is now available as a PDF file (36 pages, 285K).
